Your Masjid Al Salam YC is ecstatic to offer a platform for all to identify, and develop unique talents, and succeed through mastery.
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics … It is not the tools or the categories; the objective behind offering the A.S.T.E.M track is to instill curiosity, excellence and soft skills through teamwork as well as the strategy and troubleshooting. (all Islamic values)
For our first cohort, we are excited to announce two engaging and invaluable courses.
This really is the perfect introductory course for anyone with an interest in Calligraphy.
No need to be the arty type either. Calligraphy can be done by anyone, as long as you learn the correct way from the very beginning. This course will set you off learning all the skills you need to become a Calligraphy Pro.
Learn the fundamental calligraphy strokes that most people do not even know exist! The letter styling, curves and cases that makes your calligraphy beautifully consistent. And so much more!
Taught by our very own Sr Maryam Altaf & Sr Sondos Youssef.

If you’ve ever spent hours texting, renaming files or filled hundreds of same old forms, you know how tedious tasks like these can be. But what if you could have your computer do them for you?

In this course, you’ll learn how to use Python (most popular programming language available) to write programs that do in minutes what would take you hours to do by hand – no prior programming experience required.
For example, search for text in a file or across multiple files; send reminder emails and text notifications; or search the web and download online content.
