[dropcap]Scouts[/dropcap] are everywhere in our masjid. You will see them on any given weekend during their meetings, planning trips, performing service tasks, and helping out wherever they are needed. We have Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts (which includes Tiger Cubs, Wolf Cubs, Bear Cubs, and of course Webelos), and if there are any other kind of scouts out there, we have em too!
If you are a parent, and you are tired of seeing your kids glued to electronic devices or TV all day long, you need to look into one of our many scouting groups – we are certain that you and your children will be better for it.
We will be adding details on all of the various scouting groups in the days to come. In the meantime, if you cannot wait to get started on your own scouting journey, or have any other questions, fill out the Contact Form for the group you are interested in. If no one has responded to your inquiry in a few days, please email [email protected] and we will follow up on your behalf.
Scouting is a premier youth program that benefits the whole community. The Troop was established in 2007 after the forming of Cub Scout Pack 321. It was started with 6 boys and have grown to over 50 scouts.
A Game with a Purpose
Lord Baden Powell, Founder of the Scouting movement, described Scouting as “a game with a purpose.” Scouting is essentially a game for boys under the leadership of boys with the wise guidance and counsel of an adult who still has the enthusiasm of youth in him.
