Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

25 years ago, to address the need for fulltime education of the children of the Muslim Ummah in the greater Houston area, ISGH established IEIT and Dar ul Arqam schools for that one and only purpose.  MashAllah, since those humble beginnings, IEIT now has a fulltime Islamic school is every zone of ISGH and in fact has six fully accredited schools with almost 1200 students and 180 teaching staff.

One of the foundations of IEIT has been that we will not deny admission to any child whose parents cannot pay the full tuition fee and in fact in each school several parents are receiving tuition discounts. This financial discounting to “needy children” leads to operating deficits that can only be covered by the generous donations of the Muslim Ummah since we do not qualify for nor seek funding outside our community.

Recognizing this need for raising funds for the Islamic education of financially needy children, ISGH Shura has designated May 18 this first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as “Fulltime Islamic Education Day”, and this fundraising for Islamic Schools is being conducted in all ISGH Masjids. Your donations are tax-deductible as IEIT is also a 501 c 3 organization.

Please note that the Muslim community is the only source of funds for Islamic education. Your generous donations will ensure that all parents who wish their children to receive fulltime Islamic education will have accredited Muslim schools in which to receive their education.  Not only are our secular courses fully accredited but our Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Education curriculum is also fully recognized. Many of our graduates are fluent in Arabic, they understand the meaning of the Quran, they are quite knowledgeable of Islamic history, and they also follow the tenets of Islamic etiquette. The IEIT high school students who have graduated have almost all gone to college, most with scholarships.

Please donate generously.  You can use the envelopes provided to either put in a check or write-in your credit card number, or cash. You can also write a pledge amount with your name and contact information in the envelope flap and we will contact you for your payment. Volunteers have collection boxes and envelopes to receive your donations. Thank you for your generosity during this holy month of Ramadan.
