Eid Prayers Announcement

Eid prayers will Inshallah be held on Friday, June 15th, at both NRG Arena for the city wide prayers, as well as Masjid AlSalam.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the larger congregation with Sheikh Omar Suleiman delivering the Eid khutbah.

  • Takbiraat start at 8:00 am.  Salah will be at 10:00 am
  • Parking at NRG requires $12 – only cash will be accepted.

For those that are unable to travel to NRG, there will be two prayers held at Masjid AlSalam.

First prayer: Takbiraat start at 7:00 am.  Salah will be at 7:30 am

Second prayer: Takbiraat start at 9:00 am.  Salah will be at 9:30 am

Men’s prayers will be held in the Multi-Purpose Hall (gym) and women will be in the main prayer halls (upstairs as well as downstairs).

Parking Instructions: 

  • Please follow directions given by the traffic volunteers and officers.
  • Please CARPOOL to avoid traffic congestion.  Parking rules will be enforced.
  • Try to arrive at least 15 to 30 mins prior to the salah time to give time to park.
  • If you arrive after all designated parking spots have been filled for the first prayer, you will be asked to leave and return for the second prayer.
  • Please pay close attention to the Entrance and Exit Traffic Flow images shown below.  These display how the volunteers and officers will be directing the flow of traffic.

Entry Route – North Gate until Spot 2 is full, South Gate open all times:

Exit Route – Traffic will exit only on North Gate. South Gate is reserved for 2nd prayer entry:

Zakat-ul-Fitr is $10 per person. You must pay before the Eid salah.  You can pay online using this link – use the drop down value called Zakat-ul-Fitra.
