Assalama-u-Alaykum
We are pleased to announce that Masjid AlSalam has been selected as a participating voting location for the 2021 Federal and State elections. We will host both Early Election voting as well as the voting on the official date – Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021. The center will be prepared according to guidelines provided by the government and the CDC to facilitate a safe atmosphere for voting.
We encourage everyone to participate fully in this important civic duty.
The voting will be held in the Multi-purpose hall (gym) building. Jummah prayers during the early voting period (Oct 22nd and Oct 29th) will be held in the main prayer hall and other suitable areas within the masjid.
Early voting hours for Masjid AlSalam are as follows:
Monday, October 18, 2021 through Saturday October 23, 2021 – Voting Hours: 7am-7pm
Sunday, October 24, 2021 – Voting hours: 12pm-7pm
Monday, October 25, 2021 through Wednesday, October 27, 2021 – Voting Hours: 7am-7pm
Thursday, October 28, 2021 – Voting Hours: 7am-10pm
Friday, October 29, 2021 – Voting Hours: 7am-7pm
